Royal baby: Ten Facts You May Not Know

An avalanche of information prior to the advent of the "Royal Baby" Kate and William, here are ten of the most significant or some amazing:

1 - Genealogists say the baby will present a distant link with Dracula, Prince of the 15th century who inspired Bram Stoker's famous vampire. They also connected via a family tree, a Muslim sultan who is to be a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad.

2 - Finland offered to William and Kate an "emergency box for newborns" that all pregnant women receive in the Nordic countries, which includes baby clothes, pads bra for breastfeeding and even condoms.

3 - The custom was that the royal births are authenticated by the presence of the Minister of the Interior. Fortunately for Kate, this measure was discontinued in 1936.

4 - The Royal baby does not necessarily have a name but if Kate and William decided to assign one, they can choose between Mountbatten-Windsor, Wales and Cambridge.

5 - The world-famous attractions such as Niagara Falls on the border between Canada and the United States, Canada's National Tower in Toronto or the fountains of Trafalgar Square in London will be illuminated in pink or blue, depending on the sex, birth.

6 - The journalists who camped three weeks before the London hospital where Kate waiting for the happy event found horribly long time. It was another matter in 1982 to the birth of William.
